Details of The Game (Video):

Plane and simple. Filming with a drone is awesome. You can film from different angles you wouldn’t typically view the game from. 

Which is exactly what you’ll see in today’s breakdown. 

We’re going directly overhead to watch how you can (better) know when to lean in at the kitchen and attack a ball at your opponents.

Update on My Journey Playing Pro: 

The last couple weeks have been awesome! I’ve been on court twice a day (almost every day) training.

Lots of gratitude.

Lots of frustration &

Lots of soreness. 😂

Gratitude because I love to play this game and injury reminds you of that.

Frustration because I’ve been beat up by my buddies who have raised their game since we last played.  

And soreness as I’ve been doing extra practicing singles, in addition to mixed doubles and mens doubles. I'll play all three events in Cincinatti.

Singles is tough… 

Especially for a guy like me who didn’t grow up with an extensive tennis background. BUT, the main reason I’m doing it is because... 

  1. Serves & returns are everything in singles, and it's a great way to get more reps at those two things to improve my doubles game. 
  2. Fitness - Over the last year I’ve lifted weights 2-3x a week, but my cardiovascular fitness has just been so-so. So this is helping me get back in great shape.

In closing, I have no clue how I'll perform in Cincinnati next week, but as some smart person somewhere once said...

The journey continues!
